about looking for event sponsors to help us make it happen.

This annual Capture the Flag event attracts some of the best
Sys-Admin/IT/Network-security and Pentesters in our region and stirs
up much geek excitement in the ROA & NRV areas. If you haven't
been to our previous Professional CTF events.. they're pretty cool.
They feature Hollywood-hacker-style mood lighting, hacker
electronica background music (kind of tongue-in-cheek), and a web+VM
based 3hr, hands on hacking CTF, full of challenges that are super
popular with our uber geek audience. But thumping hacker tunes and
geek games aside, what really brings our IT gurus out of their
e-caves are the cool CTF challenges, sharing, learning, as well as
awesome penttest hardware prizes from HAK5, Amazon, flippers, etc..
The fun is further enhanced food & drinks (includes beer,
drinks, and sometimes special "distilled prizes").
