Venue - sorry for any confusion you might be having. I have reserved the Concept Conference room in the VTCRC. I have reached out to see if they would allow an after hours event at the Events Center.

I will just ask our website team to put Concept on the registration and if we get lucky on the Training and Events Center we can update

FYI..

We're still working on deciding on an exact venue, but we know it will be in the Blacksburg CRC. We just wanted to get the word our ASAP.

Any questions?

Do you want to know more about the recent world wide lof4j vulnerabilities<https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2021-44228>, or have any stories about scanning for, patching and mitigating against log4j vulnerabilities on your networks? Whether you want to find out more, or share your org?s best practices.. come and join in as we all learn more about log4j and what you can do to secure your organization?s systems and networks.

This will be a 1 hour, in person round table discussion (with food and drinks), followed by a hands on workshop on the Cyber Range<https://www.virginiacyberrange.org/> (BYOL). This rands on workshop will give you a step by step lab to scan for, detect, and exploit this serious vulnerability on your network, just as a black hat would. Then we'll discuss patching, prevention and mitigation strategies to keep your organization safe going forward.
