Title: Two-Day Big Summer Rocket Launch
New River Valley Rocketry presents a Two-Day Big Summer Rocket Launch on  
Saturday, July 20, 2019 and Sunday, July 21, 2019 on property owned by  
Virginia Tech in the Prices Fork area.

This weekend is not only the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, but  
it is also the biggest high power rocket launch in the Southwest Virginia  
region this year! Enjoy a fun, free, family event watching big, 10-20 foot  
rockets fly to over a mile up in the air and echoing off the mountains!

This is a two day event attracting aerospace specialists, rocketry  
hobbyists and families from all over the region and East Coast.

Around noon each day we will have the local food vendor the Mann Sausage  
Food Truck selling hand made German brats, American sausage, dogs, sides  
and drinks.

And though the venue is rural, we will have on-site running water  
bathrooms, free ice water and more. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs and a  
canopy if you want to sit in the shade.
