The Roanoke Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC.tech) sponsors regular Cyber Security Forum events, talks and discussions with security experts from all over the Roanoke/Blacksburg, South Western VA region. See the website for the next event at www.rbtc.tech. This list is a read-only security events announcements email list. If you would like to submit or announce an event, send your sales-free, security related message to the list owners/moderators at security-announce-owner(at)lists.rbtc.tech for approval of your security announcement. Postings should be non-product/advertising, security related events, talks or important information for security experts (not regular vulnerabilities/exploit posts, etc). Alternatively, we also have an unmoderated discussion mail list [Security-Discuss] where you can share info on security trends, hot new vulnerabilities & exploits, commercial events, as well as ask questions. That list is at lists.rbtc.tech/mailman/listinfo/security-discuss . Using Security-Announce
To post a message to all the list members, send email to security-announce@lists.rbtc.tech. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Security-Announce
Subscribe to Security-Announce by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
